Add players and coaches to a team

Add a player

1. Open Teams in the sidebar. Tap your team.
2. Tap Roster.
3. Tap Add player.
4. Start typing their name. Tap the right one.
5. Tap Save.

Add a coach or a team manager

Same screen, different button. Tap Add staff instead of Add player, pick the person, and choose what they are: head coach, assistant coach, or team manager.

They get an email straight away. They have to open it before they can see anything — what to do if it never arrives.

What each one can do

Give people the smallest one that works. You can change it later.

The name I want is not in the list

The list only offers people who are already in your league. If they are not there, they have not signed up yet.

• A player has to go through sign-ups first.
• A coach you can add by email address, even if they have never used Kordnate.

Common mistakes

• Two records for the same child. Search before you add. A second record splits their history and their parent sees the wrong team.
• Adding a coach as a player. It puts them on the roster and in the team count, and they show up on game sheets.
